When she was 19 At the age of 19, she dropped Here, her debut single. It received a lot of praise as well from critics and listeners. It reached number 19 in both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the hit one of the Best Songs of 2015. Her debut Know It All album in the same year. The third single, Scars to Your Beautiful was among five tracks that made it to the top of the charts on Billboard including Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 in addition to Billboard Hot 100. The track is special because, based on the Rap-Up interview that she conducted, many of her listeners were able to relate to her experience in learning to love themselves while battling with her. Cara is well-known for her ability to incorporate messages about mental health kindness and self-love in her songs. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her struggles with mental illness and insomnia. In a Reuters interview, she described the album as being half turbulent as well as half-perfected. She claims she has grown through therapy, and encourages other people to get help as needed. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on the 11th day of July 1996. Her parents gifted her with a guitar when she was just 10 years old. The guitar ignited her passion for music. She began to cover her favourite songs at age 13 in order to show everyone that she was a singer with the ability and confidence needed to sing. Actually, one of her songs she covered Sweater Weather was the song which got her attention by EP Entertainment. They allowed her to record and compose her own songs.
